Step 1: Tools and Process
We document the development process, as agreed upon by both teams. Our preference is for an iterative process, usually one to four weeks in duration. We will also provide a set of recommended development and lightweight process tools to assist during the development process.
Step 2: Code and Test
We develop code for your startup using Ruby on Rails, custom code, and third-party plugins when appropriate. We focus on delivering quality code that has been tested using Unit and Functional test suites that ensure you are comfortable when deploying to production.
Step 3: Mentor and Review
If you like, we can mentor other members of your team through assisted development and periodic code reviews. Let us take the lead on the design and your team implement it, providing assistance where needed. Or, we’ll work on the entire solution and then transition the knowledge to an emerging team when you are ready.
