Bringing Ruby to the Enterprise

The consulting company that I work for, MomentumSI, has published an article on SysCon’s Enterprise OpenSource Magazine entitled “Bringing Ruby to the Enterprise.” Brad, along with a few Ruby consultants like myself, combined our experience and research to let enterprises know that Ruby and Rails can provide a competitive advantage in many situations. Let us know what you think by posting a comment or dropping me a note.

  1. Absolutely a great article. I’m currently involved in a fight to get Ruby at work so this article rang true. Thanks for publishing it. I would be interested in any other resources you have on this topic as well.

    John,

Thanks for the feedback on the article. You may want to get Bruce Tate’s book, “From Java to Ruby”. I posted recently about him, including a link to his book. It should cover much of what you are looking for.
